I made this using Michael Miller "Mushroom" cotton fabric and matching red with white polka-dot fabric. I love using polka-dots, I even love saying the word polka-dot.........

My Zinnia Pillow. Pattern and fabric by Amy Butler. The disign of this pillow is beautiful. I'm planning on making myself another using all the scrap fabric I have accumulated over the last year. Should turn out to be an interesting and brightly coloured piece.

"Tattoo" By the great Alexander Henry (man I like his fabric!). The design of this bag is by Jenna Lou.

Big 1950's inspired Cherry and Check print bag. Again I used Alexander Henry's fabric. This design is called "Fruit Basket".

My all time favourite print. This is by Alexander Henry and it is called "Peace".

I love using Polka-dots. For the trims, ties and pocket on this I used Alexander Henry's "Aviary" print fabric.

Here is my half apron using Amy Bulter "Coriander" fabric and Anna Maria Horner "Fanfare" print fabric. Two very different designs, but I wanted to make something quite unusual and striking. I used a dark grass green for the lining.

I Love Sewing

I don't know why but I love sewing!

So I decided to sell my stuff, not just aprons, other sewn and beaded crafts in my very own little shop on Etsy called POP Retro and on Ebay under the name Mellimoocow.

I know it is hard to believe, but I do not make a profit from selling my bags, aprons, jewellery ect. I sell them because there is only so much space in my little 2 up, 2 down house to store them and how many bags, necklaces, earring and kitchen accessories does one girl need?.......hummmm!

I remember telling my mum how to set the timer on the video recorder, how to send a mobile phone text and how to use the internet!

I AM that woman now! Do you loose that kind of instinct and natural talent when you turn a certain age! It was only a year ago that Pod Casts were explained to me! Do I need a 7 year old to teach me new tricks?

Oh well, so this is my first ever introduction to Blogging. I hope who reads this will gain a little insight into me, my life, my obsessions, my family and friends and my passions.
